. . . I bring you a glass of water instead of a can of pop and prepare far too many vegetables and make your salad too big for supper while ignoring your request to only serve meat, it’s also why I try to sneak whole wheat into everything and nag you to simmer down when a rude driver tailgates you on the highway.

ReplyDeleteYes but have you heard this story? A man's wife prepares very healthy meals all their lives--she makes them exercise, avoid alcohol and smoking and generally live healthy. Then one day they finally die at the age of 80 in a car accident. When they get to heaven, they look around and find that everything is free--you can eat what you like, travel instantly anywhere, do anything you want, and life is generally wonderful. The husband turns to the wife and says, "If not for your interfering, we could have been here 20 years ago!"
