Jogged ten miles.
Ate nine chocolate, peanut butter chip cookies.
Took an eight hour trip to the temple, via the grocery store, church, and Red Robin.
Gathered seven eggs.
Bought six Mr. Goodbar’s to make a couple Good-luck bars.
Worked five days.
Donated four minutes and a pint of blood to the Red Cross. 
What a fun post. I love numbers. And I am SO EXCITED for Abe & Grace.

Oh dear, Micelle! THAT was misleading. I finished three books but STARTED two of them much, much earlier. And the one I did start and finish was The Giver. Lowis Lowry is coming to our library in a few weeks and I wanted to read it before she came.
ReplyDeleteOne of the other books was The Intention Experiment. A homebound neighbor asked me to read it so she had someone to discuss it with. It was a plodder-through book and I've been working at it several months. While the book had many fascinating suggestions and studies, I didn't feel completely comfortable with it. But, it did make me stretch for I had to continually ask myself, "Do you believe this?" Some things I did, some things I didn't. It was good to discuss it with my neighbor, however, and I think the book has helped her a great deal, especially in seeking for the positive.
So, yes, three finished but only one started . . . and that was a quickee. Don't you think The Giver is suffocating to read?

A girl after my blood-pumping heart. It's a big competition in our family to donate blood quickly, and anything under five minutes is pretty good.
I always love a pair of Danskos. A little treat for your feet!
Congrats to Grace and Abe, and to your family. I can't imagine being apart though, and hope that everything goes well for both of them. (And all of you!)

ReplyDeleteYes. Yes, I did run in those shoes Deidra and Emma J. For the past three months they are the shoes of choice as my tennis shoes hurt. I need to find some better shoes, but until then . . . crocks. And I'm not one bit proud of it, it's pathetic. :)
