I had a bag of groceries that sat in our living room for weeks, just waiting to be put away in the small closet. Sad to say, but I just stopped noticing it after a little while. What a relief to have it put away. Now for that 100 lbs of flour...
Great tips and reminders, Jane!
Might I add one more tip that has saved me so much: "Since cleaning house is a constant, turn into homemaking and find joy in it." I still hate cleaning bathrooms but I have learned to enjoy doing the dishes with my little ones' "help" and there are many other tasks that are easier and more enjoyable when my perspective is different.
Of course, I still hate mopping and since my entire first floor is tiled...well...that job has been delegated to my husband :)
I had some bags lined up in the kitchen this week because I couldn't take care of them for a couple days, Randy actually said "This isn't like you." It most definitely wasn't!
