SPT—Eight is Great

Photobucket
all mixed-up

I thought Daylight Savings Time began last Sunday. I got up, changed all the clocks and a couple of hours later couldn’t figure out why the computer clock hadn’t jumped ahead or why the Mormon Tabernacle Choir wasn’t singing. I asked one of the wisest people in the world, Jeeves, what the deal was and discovered DST starts next Sunday. Ha. I lost an hour this week and get to gain it back next week. By default, I finally outsmarted the system and for one whole week get to leave for work at 8:00 instead of 7:00. Eight is great.

I love that--I'm always afraid I'm going to do that on the wrong Sunday.

How funny it that.....there is always that fear of forgetting. I had no idea that time was going to change next week. Thanks.

Day light savings time always boggles my mind. Glenn gets it, so he is incharge. Time isn't my forte'. Althought it seems like it can be measured, I think it really can be. I think the some thing about money! We either have enough, more than we need, or not enough, it is all subjective. How is that for mind boggling?

Great picture Jane! Daylight Savings time always messes me up anyway, so if I ever got it on the wrong week I'd really have a problem!

Argh, as if the 8:30 church time wasn't early enough, I have to get up an hour earlier than normal, and Doane won't be here to help - yuck! Too bad I didn't think of doing that last Sunday, too.....

I am chuckling about this- and will this next weekend when we change the time!

One of the great blessings of being a native Arizonan--we know that Daylight Savings is a true waste of time! :) I really am so grateful that we don't have to deal with it in Arizona.

Funny story and great photo!

I am always afraid of forgetting to set the clocks. I double check everything. Doing it a week early is funny. You gain an extra hour for one more week. I personally enjoy fall back better. :-)

Great picture!

One of the other benefits of living in Arizona...no DST.

Of course I try to remember in the back of my head so I don't call Janiece to early or too late.

This is so funny because I did that once and we lived a day an hour ahead! I forgot it was coming up, so this is a great reminder!

I have to say I am glad that AZ doesn't change their clocks. I forget enough things as it is!

I thought that my calendar said it was on March 29 this year. I will have to go back and double check it. Thanks.
