Oh gee, we got a phone message tonight that just made me sad. There's not one thing we can do about it, either. It went somewhat like this:
"Hi! This is mama. We just thought we'd come up and go camping. We'd love to have you join us. You don't need to bring anything but your pillows, we have all the food and everything. Just appear like a vapor if you want. We won't be able to call you again, we're having trouble with the cell phones and the credit card, but we sure hope you'll come see us and spend some time with us. We love you and hope to see you and your kids."
So whoever might have a mama that would blow in like the wind and beg you to bring your pillow and come see her . . . well, she's in camp spot # 7 and she is waiting for you.

Oh it's just so painful! I hope this never happens to us.
I hope she's not sitting there all alone in the dark tonight, wondering where here kids are.
Doesn't it make you want to tell the rest of the story?
oh, no...
haha. That is funny. You and Calvin should just show up.
Oh...that just takes my breath away! Life needs to be planned a little better than that! Philisophical ol' me could go into some kind of "life coaching" diatribe here. Wow! (I am making myself stop here!) No...I can't...oh but I must! Truly I just want to FIX that family! It pains me that a family camping opportunity may be missed, but it sounds like a whole lot of self defeating behavior is going on there. Lessons to be learned; how often do we miss out on great things because of SDB? UGH! I like Cassidy's suggestion, you could "help" them learn some "organizational leadership" skills. (Sorry, I hope I haven't missed the point of this post.)
That is so sad! That poor mama is going to be wondering if her kids and grandkids just didn't want to see her...
Oh, that is just so sad....
Oh dear, that's just too sad!
Tragic! Maybe you should go??:)
oh.....
That is sad so why am I laughing? I love your blog too.
