Monday Memories—Just the Same

One of the best things about being married is, year after year, having someone to help you with the crappy chores—like shoveling out the chicken coop or getting the garden ready to plant.

And I’m pretty sure you’d think these pictures were both taken Saturday if Cali didn’t give it away. I mean, she is nearly 27 years old and all, but Calvin and me? We look just the same.

Ahh, such a good point. I love having Danny around when someone poops their pants and I just don't feel like scrubbing them. lol

And it's hard to believe you have a 27 year old. You look so young.

Ha ha ha. I was going to comment the same. "MY GOODNESS, YOU HAVEN'T CHANGED ONE BIT!" I do look cute there with my hoodie tied tight.

I think the "comfort of a continuous companion" is the one of the hidden blessings of marriage. When I got married, I didn't know how comforting and securing it would feel to know someone will now ALWAYS be there.

I love you both,
Cali

Tonight Troy and I worked on mounds of laundry together. And it really is nice to have someone to do all those less than fun things with.

And that is a great photo of you three!

Great photos, it does make the mundane more memorable when you have someone to do it with.

I love how observant Cali is when she mentions her hoodie tied tight. Funny.

You make a great working team and does look just the same. Side by side.

You should buy Calvin some more of those skinny jeans. You know they are quite "in" now!

What a lovely, lovely post. Who knew cleaning out chicken dung could be so romantic? :)
