The next night Cali was cooking chicken and we tried it again. Not one bit of foam boiled over.
Since then I've used it on pasta. Again. No mess.
If you hate stove-top spill-overs, this is a pinterest idea that works.

In the last 2 weeks I've boiled over several pots. I will try this tip! It is not fun to take apart my stove to scrub it! I did try a cupcake "flag" from pinterest. It was darling!

I have tried a couple of cleaning tips that sadly didn't work all that well.
I read once that if you add salt to the water when you're boiling eggs, it helps keep the eggs from cracking open. I tried it today and it seems to have worked. I'll have to try it a few more times to really prove the theory, but I'm feeling hopeful.
