I Think I Need Your Help

As you may have noticed I have a blog topic for each day of the week. I’ve been trying to think of a new topic of discussion for Tuesday’s blog posts. Self-Portrait Tuesdays was a great experience and I learned quite a few things about myself (things like my wedding dress still fits [for the most part] and my double chin will always be part of me). A big thanks to Lelly for hosting Self-Portrait Tuesday all those months. But Lelly no longer hosts SPT and . . . well, you can only play hide-n-go-seek for so long by yourself before you feel kind of silly.

So…..have you got any ideas for a Tuesday topic? I have hesitated to ask for your help for a couple of reasons: One, what if no one responds. It’s always a bit embarrassing to say something loud and bold and then only hear silence (no “hmmm”or “I’ll think about that,” but s.i.l.e.n.c.e.). And, two, what if by chance I get two ideas and I hurt one of your feelings by not taking your suggestion? I don’t like that idea either. NOTWITHSTANDING those dilemmas, I’m bravely asking for suggestions because I’m stumped. I’ve been thinking for three months and haven’t come up with a solution.

Ideas for a Tuesday topic?

Maybe Tuesday could be your day to give an update on goals or projects you are currently working on? Or maybe it could be "Tuesday Tips" and take the place of your Homemaking post on Wednesdays and then you could make Wednesday be "Worldless Wednesday" with just a photo...

I'll keep thinking :)

Personally, I think anything you have to say would be wonderful.

Hmm, I can't think of anything specific at this moment, but wanted to echo Carolyn -- I think whatever you decide will be lovely.

And I keep meaning to thank you for the card you sent -- such a pretty card and kind words. Thanks!

I saw a blog called Tuesday Tell All (I think I still have a link to it on my blog) but the idea was similar to your Monday Memories I guess. The idea is you answer a question about yourself, your memories, or maybe things you like or dislike. It was seasonal (like in the fall maybe a question about a school memory...) I think I would love anything you came up with! :)

Timely Tuesdays and use it for whatever is timely in your world that doesn't fit in other days. Just my thoughts. Love all your posts!

Way to be brave, Jane! I hate to tell you, but I'm not an idea girl. At all. More of a copying girl.

And all my brain power just went to marveling over the fact that you still fit into your wedding dress! Wish I did!

Sorry I'm coming up short, but maybe you can just have Tuesday Tidbits and throw in some miscellany that doesn't fit into any other category...

Totally Taking care of Twins Tuesday. That's the day you hop on down the coast to California and take care of twins while I nap. hahaha

I dunno. But I have to agree with everyone else, anything you say is wonderful.

One of my friends does a "shoes-day" on Tuesday. Maybe you have to be a shoe freak for that to work. :) Timely Topics? I don't know. I know why you've been thinking for 3 months! Good Luck!

You know me Jane. I would call it "Take a Break Tuesday" and write about what I chose NOT to do! Good luck and have a great week.

I LOVE reading your blog. In fact, you amaze me with everything you do and say.

Tacky Tuesday could be offering political views. :)

Tuesday Treats could be a recipe that you just LOVE.

Tricky Tuesday could be letting us in on some of the funnies in your life or any type of jokes.

I think you will find the perfect Tues. entry and we will all love it.

I would love to get to the point where I blogged daily and had a rotating topics. You're my hero there! But I just have to raise my littles first for that to be plausible.

I think there are a lot of great ideas. I like the Tuesday treats, of course. And the idea of adding in a Wordless Wednesday and bumping homemaking to Tuesday tips. Another thought is a Traveling Tuesday, where spotlight something you've loved at a friend's house or a friend's blog.

I enjoy your blog as it always gives us your wonderful insight on life. So you are looking for a title for your Tuesday blog. How about "Tuesday Treasures" which could be about family, friends, food, an experience, photos, craft, etc. Also, "Thoughtful Tuesday"..a spiritual thought or an experience of you or someone else that we all can learn from. Your good works are a blessings to all of us Jane.

Oh- I like everyone's suggestions. Everything I thought ... you are already doing or someone else suggested it. Whatever you do, I will keep coming back to read!

It's been too long since I visited your blog. Thanks for the reminder, Jill!
I would suggest - Terrific Tuesdays? All those things in your life that are terrific. From the random to the most important. Might be an eye opener to you and your readers.
I know for me, it is fun to see what others find terrific...

...Tuesdays at my home means - tacos. Taco Tuesdays... but that isn't really terrific, is it? :-)

Tuesdays with Ande. For sure.

I don't have any good ideas for you, but like Lisa's idea of Terrific Tuesdays, probably because the alliteration appeals to me so much and because I'd thought of that on my own as well. Or maybe you could make a free day to post whatever you want. Or you could still do and SPT of sorts by taking a self-portrait of you doing something that day then writing about it. I'm always interested in seeing what you're up to and what your world is like.

How about Tuesday Quotes-- quotes of famous, and not so famous, people.

I think it would be fun to try something you've never done before (eat something exotic, ride along in a fire truck, learn CPR, go to a local diner you've never been to...)and write about it each Tuesday.
