I recently read, “God help us to be grateful. Someone has said that an ungrateful man is like a hog under a tree eating apples and never looking up to see where they come from.” (Ezra Taft Benson)
This month will be daily blogs of looking up, for I’m certainly well fed.

I love this.
I find myself all too often like that pig. The lesson I have learned so far this week is that while I may not always have everything I want, I definitely have everything I need and that makes all the difference!
I think this is such a great post! Especially adore the photo.
I'll second Michelle. I love this.
I love NJP posts.
(I thought of you yesterday as I tried a dress on. Though I hated to take off my shoes, my sweater, my jeans, and my shirt to try it on, I decided to take my pants off all the way! It made me smile to think of you, and know exactly how you felt!)
Love your little piggy! Reminds me of Wilbur of Charlotte's Web. Your posts are always fun, lifting, teach a principle and entertaining as well. They are a joy to read.
Oh my goodness, what a great metaphor!
Great analogy from President Benson. Although I'm not sure I needed any other reasons to be similar to a hog:0
LOVE the apple tree picture!
I saw this on another blog recently and thought it was marvelously profound.
I must have seen this on your blog (not someone else's) with the cartoon picture of the pig right? I feel like an idiot.
Thanks for this post, so great!
