Yesterday we attended a large youth conference with hundreds and hundreds of kids between the ages of 14 and 18. The conference was held at a college campus and we spent the day attending classes, lectures, and workshops on how to be a better disciple of Jesus Christ.
We had a great time and heard numerous inspiring and motivating presentations. Many, many talents were volunteered to make this event possible and it is a blessing to live among people who are willing to invest their time, talent, and resources to the growth of other people.

What?! You can get pulled over for not using your blinker?? I always thought that was one of those rules they don't enforce since I rarely ever see cops use theirs--drives me nuts!
Are the police targeting nice Mormons?!
How is it that you guys ended up serving in the Spanish Branch? Did you speak Spanish before being called?
Michelle, that is EXACTLY how Calvin felt. He said the same thing that cops never use their blinkers.
Jill, I think it was a slow night and he needed to show that he was busy.
Nope. Nada. We don't speak Spanish, but neither do the youth in our branch use it much either. We are just regular old empty nesters from an active ward that they called to help the Branch out.
What lucky kids!
Even the thought of being pulled over makes me grouchy... especially when I can point out many other cars that deserve it and never seem to be caught! Ha.
