It's amazing how big of a chicken I become when Chris is gone, or he's sound asleep. I can work myself into quite the tizzy if I let my imagination roam.
I stumbled upon your blog and have been reading a few posts. You are an incredible writer! Do you write? Besides your blog I mean? You paint a rich picture, and I thank you for that. My favorite post so far is the one about Grandma and Grandpa. Take care, Charmaine
I love this post!!! I remember laying in bed and thinking...I even miss the snoring!!! I try to remember that when Kim snores?!? What a blessing not to be alone. Lie is Good!
Life is worth living when your other half is there. I am so happy to know he returned safely and that Abe and Grace are together. Everything is as it should be! (When is Grace going to start her blog?????)
Whenever Bo is gone, even it's just because he got up an hour before me, I ALWAYS sleep on his side. It smells like him, and for some reason I feel closer.
Mom, I think that picture is very freaky. I kind of (REALLY) don't like it. I'm so glad you missed dad. Nothing makes a child feel more secure than seeing their parents love and miss each other. If I were Ande, I would have a certain hand sign/signal to better express what I mean (not a bad one of course... just one that can't be described in less than 87 words). I think you know which one it is.

I love the picture and your thoughts! Sleeping by yourself is the worst.
I always sleep on David's side when he is gone too, even after he gets up in the early early morning, i scoot over, funny!!!
SO SO happy that Grace and Abe are together, how long does it get to stay that way?
You two are adorable!
Love the face mish-mash.

Oh the loneliness of an empty bed.
Fun SPT!
I bet Abe and Grace are so happy to be back together.
Clever, very cleaver! That is a picture of what I am always saying. between the two of us we have a whole brain! My "other half" is so dear to me!
So funny! I'm missing Steve too. It's just not the same when they are gone! I'm glad all the Payne families are together again!

You've said in short words - and the right short words - everything I'd like to say about long marriages.
Don't you think this is a story that hasn't been well told very often? Don't you think it should be?
Glenn says, at least half of his head has hair!
I'm not usually scared when Jeff is gone but I miss him terribly and often feel lost.
So funny--I sleep on his side of the bed also! :)
It's good to miss someone, and to be missed!
(And Cali's comment is cracking me up.)
