March Photo Challenge – Kitchen Sink.

You've seen a picture of our kitchen sink countless times.  The only thing new about this morning's picture is the fresh snow outside -- a couple of inches worth.  The best feature of this sink (that you can't see) is the air vent down by the floor.  It's one of life's simple pleasures to have my hands in a sink of warm sudsy water while standing on the soft green rug with the warm air blowing on my feet.  I can stand there happily for a very long time.  Other good features of this sink is that it's not so big that you can let the dishes pile up, it ajaxes nicely, and its disposal system is a bucket under the cupboard that we fill with scraps of  bread, lettuce, fruit, etc. to feed to the chickens.

And there you have our kitchen sink.

Snow?! My brother said it snowed in Rexburg this week too. And I bragged about our 80 degree weather. :) I like your kitchen sink too. I need to get me an air vent and maybe that will help me enjoy mine more.

I could use an air vent, too. I can't believe you guys got snow! It's suppose to be 80 degrees here in Colorado this weekend. Not to rub it in or anything... ;)

I love your sink... the view, the rug and vent. But, most of all I love sitting on the counter while you're at the sink and talking to you. Or the other way around. I just like talking in the kitchen.

We've been loving the 80 degrees here, too. Snow doesn't seem possible!

We have some weird opening in our cupboard by the sink that is exposed to the outside wall. We would get hot air in the summer and cold air in the summer. I spray foamed the oatside wall and plugged up the opening with an old table cloth this winter (once I discovered the problem). I'd take your vent blowing the preferred temp on my toes! (Especially in the summer, canning. So hot on my already tired feet!)

Cold air in the winter. I wish in the summer!

There is something to be said about a shallow sink. I know Nathan would like less dishes! I love your kitchen and your sink.

Oh that snow is making me cold! I wonder if it's on its way here.

So Ajax is the secret to having your sink look so good? I need to go get some. No matter what I do I can't seem to get it to look that nice.

I have an air vent also right at my feet.

Now you can no longer say that you've blogged about everything but the kitchen sink. Not that you said that ever, but you could have!

I love the air vent underneath my sink, as well. Whether it's warming me in the winter or cooling me in the summer, it's always welcome.

Every time I see a picture of your kitchen I think I need to de-clutter mine...
